Since opening in 2010, Frank’s Place has been a popular stop for fans of traditional Mexican favorites like tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, and chiles rellenos. But this proud member of the La Ricazón family of restaurants also serves up some of the best salads, seafood, and grilled dishes in Los Cabos. Exhibit A is the eggplant Tojo, a delectable appetizer layered with shrimp, scallops, caramelized onions, sweet miso, and wasabi aioli.
The chicken fajita salad and hearty half-pound Duke City burger lead the list of lunchtime standards. Must-consider dinner delights include spicy cashew chicken and green chile enchiladas made with blue corn tortillas; arrachera (marinated flank steak); pork chops and apple sauce; and black pepper–crusted filet accompanied with mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and asparagus. For dessert, we suggest the chocoflan, a decadently delicious combination of flan and chocolate cake drizzled with Baileys Irish Cream.
Tropical cocktail options such as margaritas and mojitos brighten up the beverage list, and live music adds to the festive atmosphere on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The restaurant is also a favored haunt of sports fans, showcasing all the latest games and events on high-definition televisions. |
