January 17	Dia de San Antonio de Abad	Feast Day of San Antonio de Abad	The blessing of the animals is the most famous element of this day, which is the only day animals are allowed into Catholic churches. Animals are adorned in ribbons and bows, and priests bless them.

February 12 to 17	Festival de Carnaval La Paz	La Paz Carnaval Festival	The festival of Carnaval (Carnival) is celebrated as a last indulgence of carnal pleasures that Catholics must give up for 40 days of fasting during Lent, from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday. The correct spelling is Carnaval.

February 18 2015	Miércoles de Ceniza	Ash Wednesday	Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent. Priests mark churchgoers’ foreheads with ashes in form of a cross to symbolize forgiveness. A moveable feast day as early as February 4 and as late as March 10.
February 21-28	Festival del Arte de Todos Santos	Todos Santos Art Festival	A week-long celebration of Mexican culture that typically features live music, dance and theatre performances, painting & drawing exhibitions, lectures on local environmental & social issues, piano and poetry recitals & lots more.
February 22nd	Día Nacional del Margaritas	National Margarita Day	National Margarita Day is observed on February 22nd each year.
March 12 to 22	Festival de Cine de Todos Santos	Todos Santos Film Festival	The 11th edition of the Todos Santos Film Festival is underway! Deadline for sending films for consideration was December 31, 2014.
March 14 to 19	Festival de San José del Cabo	Festival of San José del Cabo (St. Joseph)	This festival is in honor of San Jose del Cabo's patron saint, San José (St. Joseph). This 11-day (this needs to be confirmed) festival culminates on March 19 every year. Beginning with evening parties and music on the 8th of March, the festival increases with carnivals and parades on weekends.

March 15	Tour a la Casa Histórica de Todos Santos.	Todos Santos Historic House Tour	10:00am – 2:00pm - Citizens of our Pueblo Magico invite visitors to tour their historic homes. Proceeds from the tour support The Palapa Society’s building fund.
March 20 to 22	Fred Duckett, Torneo de Golf, En Beneficio a "The Los Cabos Children’s Foundation"	Fred Duckett Challenge Golf Tournament, in benefit of The Los Cabos Children’s Foundation	The 2014 Fred Duckett Challenge Golf Tournament in benefit of The Los Cabos Children’s Foundation, to took place on March 20-22 at the Querencia and Palmilla courses.
November 1	Día de Todos los Santos	All Saints' Day	Honors dead relatives and friends (who were less than 18 years of age and unmarried) with candles, food and flower offerings, altars, and pre-Columbian and Christian rituals. It is not a state holiday.
November 2	Días de los Muertos	Day of the dead	Honors dead relatives and friends (who were more than 18 years of age or married) with candles, food and flower offerings, altars, and pre-Columbian and Christian rituals. It is not a state holiday.
December 12	Día de la Virgen Guadalupe	Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe	Celebrates the day that Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared on Tepeyac hill to the native San Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin. It is not a state holiday.
December 24	Noche Buena	Christmas Eve	Celebrates the eve of the nativity of Jesus, as both a secular and religious winter holiday. The traditional treats for this holiday are buñuelos, tamales and atole or champurrado. Sometimes they eat gelatina de colores (different flavors of Jell-O and a milk-based Jell-O mixed together to make a colorful treat) Las Posadas are celebrated nine days before Nochebuena, usually accompanied by a piñata party for children and dance music for adults.
December 28	Dia de los Santos Inocentes	Day of the Innocents	On this day, people pull practical jokes on each other. It is equivalent to the U.S. version of April Fools' Day (April 1). People must not believe anything that other people say nor let them borrow any amount of money. If any person has fallen victim of the joke, the person pulling the joke will say ¡Inocente palomita...!, literally meaning 'Innocent little dove..!!!' (equivalent to saying April Fools!).
