Master Stylist, Karla Ortega, was literally born with shampoo running through her veins! At a very young age, she knew hair dressing was part of her calling. She has been styling, cutting and coloring the women in Sinaloa, Jalisco and Los Cabos since 1996. Karla has trained and been the trainer at hair shows in Cabo and Sinaloa. She has a very real passion for the connections that are made behind the chair, whether she is doing a makeover or guiding her coworkers, she puts everything she has into her work. She is known for her generous spirit and desire to make a difference in our community and world. “After 19 years, I can accomplish any technical procedure necessary to create exactly what we are looking for. When I start out my day, I thank God and appreciate all that is around me. I know what an incredible honor and privilege it is to be able to do what I love every single day.”

Waxing

Things To Know Before Waxing

When you make an appointment for a body waxing service, please make sure you have a quarter inch of growth or generally speaking 2-3 weeks of growth by date of the appointment. This will ensure a successful service. One or two days before the scheduled appointment, you should exfoliate the area that is to be waxed. The day of the appointment, you should avoid using a moisturizer. Be sure not to tan 24-48 hours before waxing-as it increases sensitivity. If you are using Accutane, Retin-A, Differin, Renova, blood thinners, alpha hydroxy products or have high anti-biotic use, you may not be a good candidate for a waxing service. Certain physical conditions such as diabetes, pregnancy and a pre-disposition to cold sores may also cause heightened sensitivity.
