Diamonds International - A World of Luxury

Diamonds International
Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, Mexico

Diamonds International was established nearly two decades ago. What began as one store in St. Thomas has now blossomed into more than 80 locations. The founders of Diamonds International are both graduates of the Gemological Institute of America. They personally oversee every aspect of our daily operations, and source stones from the world's largest diamond mines, allowing us to offer beautiful jewelry — at the best possible value — directly to the public.

Throughout our history, we have distinguished ourselves by providing a comfortable shopping atmosphere, and outstanding customer service. Whether enjoying a Caribbean vacation, or shopping at home in the United States, thousands of people look to us, and our sister stores — Diamond Creations, Tanzanite International, Watches International, Just For Men, DI Watch & Design, and our online store at WelcomeToOurWorld.com — to provide them with luxury jewelry, elegant timepieces, and the finest gemstone products at an unsurpassed value. We are proud to satisfy them.

Diamonds International is now one of the largest jewelry retailers in the world. We have more locations in the Caribbean than any other fine jeweler, but our network stretches from the company's New York City headquarters into Mexico and as far as Alaska.

For your main course, the three cheese–stuffed chiles rellenos entrée can only be described as magical and comes served with black bean sauce and mango pico de gallo ($12 U.S.). The family-style sea bass with garlic-chile sauce ($21 U.S) and Oaxacan beef medallions with ancho chile and peanut mole ($21 U.S.) are both excellent. The Fideo Seco, Mexican pasta with fresh cheese, cream, and avocado, is unique and tasty ($12 U.S.). The restaurant also features family-style platters of arrachera (skirt steak, $22 U.S.), carnitas (roasted pork, $19 U.S.), and pescado a la talla (adobo-marinated snapper, $22 U.S.). All are deliciously prepared. Save room for the best churros this reviewer has ever encountered: crispy and warm from the oven with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces and worth every calorie. The lunch menu offers a variety of soups, salads, and tortas; the chef recommends the torta de chorizo con queso fundido (sausage with melted cheese sandwich, $8 U.S.). Hacienda at Medano Beach, Calle Gomez Farias S/N, Cabo San Lucas, (624) 163-3144, www.haciendacocina.com. Daily 8 a.m.–10 p.m. MasterCard and Visa accepted. C.B
