The popular Mexican tourist destination is getting ready to host the largest surf and music festival in the sport&#8217;s history in Mexico. The &#8216;LOS CABOS OPEN OF SURF, music and surf fest&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the support of State and the City authorities as well as the hotel association trust fund, starting June 17 through the 23rd, at Costa Azul&#8217;s famous Zippers beachbreak, a strong right that produces 8 to 10 foot waves, will be the site of one of the world&#8217;s most prestigious surf competitions and first of it&#8217;s kind in Mexico, a WQS (world qualifying series) MENS 6 STAR EVENT.<\/p>\n<p>This world class event will give some of the best surfers in the planet a chance to rack up much needed points inside ASP&#8217;s (association of surfing professional, top surfing regulator) dream tour and grab a ticket to the coveted WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TOUR (WTC).
