\"\"<\/a>The new medical facility is up and running after its inauguration held in April of this year.\u00a0 The hospital is located in the soon-to-be completed Koral Center on the Carretera Transpeninsular at Km 24.5 midway between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.\u00a0 Paulino Davos Sayrols is the hospital director, CEO and co-founder of H+ Hospital.\u00a0 The equipment is state-of-the art for the various areas offering mammography, tomography, ultrasonography, digital radiology and imaging. The blood bank will soon be ready for donors, a much-needed service in Los Cabos.\u00a0 Presently, the facility contains 16 spacious hospital rooms, some with ocean views.\u00a0 There are 4 beds in the isolated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the surgical areas have 3 operating rooms and one for labor and delivery, plus a room for endoscopic procedures.<\/p>\n

\"hospital-h-plus-cabo-1678-fe\"<\/a>Emergency care is available with a trauma shock physician on call 24\/7 for triage, observation, shock trauma and diagnostic.\u00a0 It is the only trauma center in all of Baja California Sur. There is a separate ambulance entrance in the rear of the building with bi-lingual personnel on duty at all times. All the glass is hurricane-proof and the hospital\u2019s generator can keep the facility operating for five days in the event of an electrical outage.<\/p>\n

The facility is one of three owned and operated by the same developers of H+ Hospital Los Cabos.\u00a0 One is located in Quer\u00e9taro and the other is a clinic in San Miguel de Allende on the mainland of Mexico. These facilities allow for a medical base of 400 doctors<\/p>\n

\"hospital-h-plus-cabo-1719-fe\"<\/a>Seven years ago the medical project was but a dream. With the help of various financiers, the $25 million project reached its realization and today the 3-level plus basement structure stands proudly awaiting those from all walks of life in need of medical services.\u00a0 All private insurance plans are accepted, with the exception of Medicare & Medicaid. There is one price list for all.<\/p>\n

The Koral Center will soon be a \u201cplace that has it all, a place offering a style of life\u201d with the Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel by Hilton, commercial shops and a string of restaurants in El Merkado, the market place, developed by the same owners as Flora Farm.<\/p>\n
