Solomon\u2019s Landing Restaurant owners Brian and Dawn Solomon hosted 75 of Los Cabos biggest movers and shakers in their lovely Pedregal Cabo San Lucas home on Friday, March 13, to discuss the launch of a new TV series that will showcase Los Cabos and the state of Baja California Sur. Members of the media and key members of the community enjoyed music, entertainment, delicious appetizers, and heard about the potential of this series: to bring more, and more positive attention to Los Cabos than what any other show has done so far.<\/p>\n

Bill Boyce\u2014a marine biologist, professional angler, longtime Baja resident, and, most importantly, a TV host of several award-winning productions\u2014will be touring Baja California Sur over the course of 13 episodes of the new primetime series Destination Baja Sur; he\u2019ll explore the coast, meeting old friends and meeting new ones, while also stopping at unique locations in search of adventure. Destination Baja Sur will potentially bring all this action to more than 128 million homes in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America. It\u2019s set to air on NBC Sport Network, the Pursuit Channel, and the World Fishing Network later this year. \u201cThis series will be the most widely distributed fishing and adventure series on television,\u201d Boyce said. The half-reality, half-documentary series will feature remote fishing locations, the Mexican culture, and Spanish history all the way from Turtle Bay down to the bustling action of Los Cabos.
