HEADLINES: February 2, 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jc not a happy camper this past week as fishing hasn\u2019t been up to his
\nstandards. We heard through the grapevine \u201che invited a witch doctor into
\nhis office to cast out all the evil fish demons\u201d and last report Jc was
\ntalking to himself in a tongue no one had ever heard of !!! Some old Pericu
\nIndian dialects, scary, but he is resting comfortably now!!!<\/p>\n

Jc Sportfishing Charters is a family owned and operated business and has
\nbeen fishing in Cabo San Lucas for the past 18 years. Jerry, explains that
\nhis charter business is geared more for families and novice anglers, making
\nsure everyone who charters a boat with him have a great time and lots of
\nfun. We welcome families, and groups. We want everyone who fishes with us
\nto take all the sites in and have a memorable experience. This is what is
\nmost important to us. We have and do a few tournaments each year and can
\ncater to fisherman who might be interested in tournament fishing. Well lets
\nget on with the fishing report for this past week.
\nWEATHER:<\/strong> Rain again this week with a few overcast days and drizzle. We
\ndid get some wet city streets, but really no heavy downpours just drizzle.
\nCooler temperatures and weather conditions over this past week, which has
\nbeen out of the normal for us since we had so many weeks of warm weather.
\nToday only reached a high of 71 degrees with a low of 64 degrees, but
\ntomorrow it starts to warm up again and we should get close to 80 tomorrow
\nas a high temperature. Today<\/p>\n

WATER:<\/strong> Cooler water temperatures probably have had something to do with
\nthis weeks hit and miss fishing as it is much cooler compared to last week.
\nEven some ares water was around 70 degrees big difference over a week ago.<\/p>\n

BILLFISH:<\/strong> Marlin fishing has been pretty off and on all week from the
\nLight House to Rancho Migrino is where fish have been caught and what they
\nare hitting is live bait and lures. All fish are being landed from 1 to 4
\nmiles offshore on the Pacific side. I am not saying we are catching lots of
\nMarlin what I am saying is what we have caught was caught in those areas.<\/p>\n

DORADO:<\/strong> This is the one bright spot of this past week with good numbers
\nof Dorado being caught. Steady Dorado fishing this past week with most
\nboats landing their fare share of fish. The hot spots for Dorado is up and
\naround Rancho Migrino about a \u00bd miles off the beach all the way up to
\nGolden Gate using lures, live bait and ballyhoo.<\/p>\n

WAHOO: <\/strong>A drastic change in the Wahoo scene as we were really doing well
\nlast week and this week very slow for this excellent eating fish. Any
\nfish caught this week were caught using rapalas and jet heads.<\/p>\n

TUNA:<\/strong> I haven\u2019t heard of a lot of of Tuna being landed this past week.
\nIf you do run into them, I think you will have to run offshore about 10 to
\n25 miles to maybe run into them if you can find a school of Porpoise.<\/p>\n

INSHORE:<\/strong> Well it’s been a very different year this year as the fish that
\nshouldn\u2019t be around this time of year is here (DORADO) and the fish that
\nshould be here ( SIERRA and YELLOWTAIL) isn\u2019t here. The Pangas inshore
\nare just doing ok and it is on Dorado where they have been lucky. The
\nSolmar all the way up to the Light House is where some Dorado is being
\ncaught. Slow Sierra and Yellowtail fishing and its disappointing since
\nthis is our season for them and we need them to roll back in and get us
\nback to normal.<\/p>\n
