On December 4th, 2014, at an event attended by numerous dignitaries, international media and property owners, golf legend and course designer Jack Nicklaus officially opened what may be the most majestic course on his resume. It was also announced that the Quivira Golf Club has been selected as the \u201cBest New International Course\u201d by <em>GOLF Magazine<\/em>, and that it will be featured in the magazine&#8217;s January 2015 issue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is one of the greatest pieces of property in the world,\u201d Nicklaus said.\u00a0 \u201cWe tried to create some excitement on the mountain and in the dunes, and I believe we\u2019ve created a golf course that plays as spectacularly as it looks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Completing the experience at\u00a0<a style=\"color: #0066cc;\" title=\"This external link will open in a new window\" href=\"http:\/\/quiviragolfclub.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" name=\"Quivira%20site\"><span style=\"color: #2dc1ec;\">Quivira Golf Club<\/span><\/a>\u00a0is a stylish, thatched-roof clubhouse between the first tee and 18th green that offers a large rectangular bar and a casual steakhouse with ample outdoor seating overlooking the sea.
