Plus, we had some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loscabosguide.com\/discount.htm\" target=\"_blank\">vouchers<\/a>, available at the Los Cabos Magazine office, to use. [BTW: Those prepaid vouchers are a smokin\u2019 deal that can save you a lot of money.]<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">We stopped in for dinner the other night at Hacienda el Coyote, where we are friends with Lorenzo, who takes care of the front end of the house.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">It was nice to see our friend and catch up a bit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The place was packed and the aromas floating out of the kitchen were an incredible blend.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">I had the Carne en su Jugo, a rustic bowl of thinly sliced beef served with bacon and beans in a rich and hearty beef broth. Photo by Ed Kociela<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">came with a side of chopped bell pepper, onion, cilantro, tiny dried red peppers, and a couple of slices of lime with some homemade tortillas. It doesn\u2019t get any more authentic than this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">My birthday girl opted for the Tequila Shrimp, a delicately flavored dish. Photo by Cara Curfew-Kociela<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">truly jumbo-sized, served atop a heaping scoop of guacamole, with some fried plantain underneath. The blend of flavors was incedible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">We split a dessert platter of fried churros with caramel dipping sauce. Killer stuff.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">It was a great meal, but as we all know, there is more to the dining experience than the quality of the food. I\u2019m sure you\u2019ve all been in places where the most important thing is how quickly they can turn over the tables for the next set of diners. You\u2019re kind of hustled through a meal and don\u2019t get the opportunity to enjoy it fully.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Yeah, well, that is not the case at Hacienda el Coyote. Photo by Ed Kociela<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The restaurant\/bar has moved from its previous marina location to across the street from Cabo Wabo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The menu has been pared down, but you can still get their famous buckets of shrimp, or shrimp and lobster. There\u2019s also a variety of juicy burgers, fresh-from-the-Sea of Cortes dinners and a list of tempting appetizers to choose from.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">But, on the back of the menu? You can choose from a variety of exotic beverages, most tequila-based, as well as standard bar fare and servings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The new No Worrys features a much larger dance floor, DJ booth, lounge area and plenty of room for \u201cnetworking\u201d from table to table.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Don\u2019t forget to bring a Magic Marker to scrawl your message on the brightly painted walls.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">It\u2019s sure to be a new late-night spot for those who like to dance, mingle, or just hang out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">We\u2019ve got a few other spots we like and will check out before it\u2019s time to head back up the four-lane to San Jose del Cabo with trips to Madeira, the Doc Wine Bar, and Presto still on tap.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Maybe we\u2019ll see you there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.loscabosguide.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/ED-MUG3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-511\" title=\"ED MUG\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loscabosguide.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/ED-MUG3-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"54\" height=\"54\" \/><\/a>Ed Kociela is a writer for Los Cabos Magazine.
