\"\"<\/a>There\u2019s no missing the preparations. Those who live and are visiting the Los Cabos region have seen the setup and increased security efforts for more than a week. Mexico is preparing to host the G20 Leaders\u2019 Summit next week, from June 18 to June 19. The G20\u2014which President Felipe Calder\u00f3n described as the most important leaders\u2019 meeting to have been held in the country\u2014is the premier forum for international cooperation on financial and economical issues and brings together the leaders of 19 countries plus the European Union.<\/p>\n

In the next few days, political leaders from around the world will descend on Los Cabos with the objectives of coordinating policies to achieve global economic stability and sustainable growth, creating international financial architecture, and promoting regulations that may help avoid future financial crises.<\/p>\n

On June 12, the president issued a statement and noted Mexico\u2019s increased presence\u2014and importance\u2014on the international stage. The leaders of the United States, China, Japan, Germany, France, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Italy, Russia, Canada, India, Spain, Australia, Korea, Indonesia, Turkey, Argentina, South Africa, Colombia, Chile, Ethiopia, Benin, and Cambodia will attend. And for two days, the world\u2019s eyes will be on our slice of paradise.<\/p>\n
