Bad Medicine Sport Fishing Cabo Fishing Report February 2014 <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"kjfuyt\"<\/a><\/strong>Cabo is enjoying possibly the nicest winter season ever on record here in the Baja. Temps in the mid 80\u2019s and water temps in the mid 70\u2019s, combined with mostly calm seas have kept the fishing hot as well. The Striped Marlin bite is holding strong. Tons of Stripey\u2019s continue to hang out on the banks out on the \u00a0Pacific, and as the transition begins into the spring season, Marlin are also showing on the Sea Of Cortez side. The action for Stripey\u2019s is hot with 4-6 shots at per day being common. There are even some Dorado mixed in there still too, whereas normally they head for warmer water by this time of year.<\/p>\n

The Tuna bite has not been as consistent as we would like to see, but there are schools farther outside for those that wish to venture out. We filled the boat twice recently with Tuna in the 15-20 lb range.<\/p>\n

Lots of Sierra Mackerel are showing on the beaches now. Great light tackle<\/span> action. The Yellowtail are also showing. As the water cools, we really target the Yellowtail. Strongest fighting and best eating fish around.<\/p>\n
