Los Cabos is not expected to be affected by the storm.<\/p>\n<pre>However, the National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane warning for\r\nthe coast of Mexico from Manzanillo northwestward to Cabo Corrientes.<\/pre>\n<pre>Maximum sustained winds have increased to nearly 115 mph with higher gusts,\r\naccording to the National Hurricane Center.<\/pre>\n<pre>Hurricane-force winds are extending as far as 35 miles from the center of the storm, with\r\ntropical-force winds reaching as far as 115 miles.<\/pre>\n<pre>Initial winds are expected to reach land overnight, with the full force of the storm set to\r\nmake landfall Friday afternoon.<\/pre>\n<pre>Residents along the southwestern coast of Mexico can expect from 5 to 8 inches of\r\nrainfall, with isolated maximum amounts of up to 12 inches, which could result in flash\r\nflooding.<\/pre>\n<pre>Bud is expected to cause a dangerous storm surge with significant coastal flooding\r\nand swells that are likely to cause life-threatening surf and riptide conditions.<\/pre>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.loscabosguide.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/ED-MUG1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-291\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loscabosguide.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/ED-MUG1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"76\" height=\"76\" \/><\/a>Ed Kociela is a writer for Los Cabos Magazine.
