Hola everyone. Well, it is almost Halloween and they are already playing Christmas music in one of my favorite stores? A little soon maybe?? Ummmm.. NEVER\u00a0 Well, I hope all of you guys had a fun and safe Halloween. Here in Cabo, we just did what we normally do\u2026..catch fish!<\/p>\n

We had another great week this week starting out with the Trip Advisor Black & Green Tournament going on right out of our office here. These guys do a great thing for the kids in Cabo, with all proceeds from the tournament going to the Ray Thomas foundation here in Cabo. These guys are into it for the fun of the fishing and a little \u201chealthy\u201d competition! We had the Caboholics on the boat \u201cRosy\u201d in 3rd place and team \u201cBeer Thirty\u201d on RedRum taking 2nd. The \u201cBaja Borrachos\u201d were on board El Nuevo with Captain Alex and took the win with Angler Larry Shewchuk locking in the victory catching and releasing a nice big Blue Marlin on the tournament Lure. NICE, NICE job Larry!!!<\/p>\n

\"Red<\/a>And thanks to all of you guys who come here once a year to support Cabo and take care of the kids of Cabo!!
\nLong time RedRum angler Joe Torolski was back with us again and killed it out there on El Nuevo as well. He sent a couple of pics in of all the Marlin he released, but I had to post my favorite. You can\u2019t help but smile when you look at it!!<\/p>\n

I also had to mention the Meadors, Gina and her Dad were here fishing for 3 days and she is from Alpharetta, GA! Makes me miss my folks who live right around the corner from them. They tore it up this week catching Dorado, a couple of Rooster fish, Marlin and a Sailfish. What a nice trip to go fishing with your Daddy. Maybe when mine is here over Thanksgiving we will give it a whirl!<\/p>\n

We were still catching lots of Dorado this week until Thursday afternoon when the Port closed down due to some wind, then opened late on Friday morning. We did see the fishing slow down some, even had one 1\/2 day boat come back empty handed on Saturday. We hate when that happens, especially this time of year. But they know what it means to fish and said, it wasn\u2019t for lack of trying because the crew worked their tails off trying to land a fish! We are happy about that, but not that it did not bare fruit. Hopefully next time!
\nSunday has not been much better, Tropical Storm Sonia is beating us up out there and caused Port Closure once again! We hope she passes quickly through the night and we will be back at it tomorrow!
