The audacious Turnage and his restaurant have succeeded despite all odds and the economy, growing rapidly thanks to the space’s warmth, and large following of returning clients every year, and a menu that keeps getting better. Their new Chef Alberto Machain has brought a few new additions to a menu that already boasts “melts in your mouth sea bass with chili garlic, succulent pacific lobster tails, and “fork-tender” filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes. The Winery signature salad stands out of the new additions. Organic mixed greens tossed with toasted pine nuts, fresh herbs, black sesame seeds, turkey pancetta, blue cheese crumbles, fresh citrus vinaigrette topped with Parmesan crisp. Their popular Pasta Del Mar, shrimp, bay scallops, Pappardelle pasta, truffle oil, black olives, cherry tomatoes, saffron cream, fresh basil, parmesan cheese, and the sea bass with mole is an absolute must. Pair all 3 with their crisp, clean, 2012 Sauvignon Blanc from Argentina.
