The festival, which was founded in 2012,\u00a0promotes and supports films and filmmakers from within Mexico, the United States, and beyond. Last year, festival attendees were treated to appearances by several A-list actors, including Diego Luna,\u00a0Gael Garcia Bernal, Matt Dillon, Edward Norton, and more. The festival will run November 13\u201316. To learn more, click <a href=\"http:\/\/bajafilmfest.com.mx\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The large open patio at the corner adjoining the popular Cabo San Lucas restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loscabosguide.com\/haciendaelcoyote\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Hacienda El Coyote<\/a>\u00a0will be remade into an open-air bar. The bar will still be part of the larger Solmar project but no longer connected to Hacienda. It will be called the Tree Bar (in English) and will serve tapas. Owners expect the bar to be open by fall.<\/li>\n<li>The chic market-driven restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loscabosguide.com\/corazondealcachofa\/\" target=\"_blank\">Corazon de Alcachofa<\/a> is reportedly relocating to a space on the corner behind its sister restaurant, Chamuyo. The little gift shop that was on the corner has moved out, and Alcachofa will remodel that space. The move is expected to be completed before the fall season.<\/li>\n<li>The nonprofit San Lucas Bomberos volunteer firefighters have a designated driver service that provides transportation to and from parties. They also provide travelers planning to visit the beach with a fireman or lifeguard. The cost depends on the required amount of time and distance, but it is very affordable compared to a taxi. It is also a way to support the volunteer squad.
