The brand-new SUR Beach House by Bar Esquina recently opened and quickly earned rave reviews from locals and visitor alike. SUR is a casual, chic, and versatile addition to the Bahia Hotel and Bar Esquina, located in the heart of Medano Beach.<\/p>\n

The two-story SUR offers visitors the opportunity to relax or enjoy the best of Cabo’s activities, along with delicious food and drinks. It’s a place where you can enjoy the serene ambience and a fun active environment.<\/p>\n

The upper level offers a deck with an incredible ocean view of Land’s End and is perfect for hosting private events, yoga, and other fitness activities. The ocean view from here is worth a visit in itself. The lower level houses the bar, lounges, and covered area along with a beach-side open-air dining area. There is also a covered casual seating area to enjoy cocktails and conversation or watch your favorite sporting event on one of several big-screen TVs. Towel service, beach umbrellas, deck chairs, and lounges round out the full-service resort experience.<\/p>\n

Within its first few months open, SUR has earned high praise for its menu, which blends Mexican, Asian, and Peruvian influences\u2014with magical results. The raw bar showcases the bounty of the surrounding seasons with dishes like ceviche, oysters, and clams. There are also incredible seafood-driven dishes like traditional pescado zarandeado<\/em> and the Instagram-worthy softshell crab taco. Other favorites include steak, makis<\/em>, andtiraditos.<\/em><\/p>\n

SUR is where people can swim in the calm waters, take a tour on stand-up paddleboard or hop aboard a wave runner for a run out to Land’s End. SUR has its own activities company, Cabo SUP, where you can book a fishing charter, parasailing tour, island exhibition, ATV tour, and more.<\/p>\n

Breakfast is currently served 7:30 a.m.\u201311:30 a.m., and lunch 11:30 a.m.\u20135 p.m. daily. The\u00a0bar is open 8 a.m.\u20135 p.m. Dinner service begins this fall.<\/p>\n

All in all, SUR Beach House by Bar Esquina<\/a> is a welcome addition to the Medano Beach scene. SUR is located right on the beach, between Casa Dorada and ME Cabo Resorts. Valet and parking are available.
