Corner Restaurant & Bar is located just a few doors down Matamoros from the Giggling Marlin – the restaurant is a great place for a quiet dinner featuring fine Cabo cuisine at affordable prices – the place being quiet as long as there isn’t an exciting sporting event on one of the 6’ projector screens or TV monitors hanging about. In that case – order a bucket of cervezas, light up a Cuban cigar and join in the fun of watching extreme Cage Fights, NBA, NFL, Hockey, Major League Baseball and Soccer. The ambience is Mexican Sports Bar with décor ranging from giant boxing gloves and football helmets suspended from the ceiling to photos of sports and other celebs sharing space on the wall with 99 bottles of beer. |

Chef Julio sailed to Cabo from Acapulco where he worked for years in better hotels perfecting his craft. Breakfast offerings are complete ranging from American style omelet’s, pancakes, fruit plates and cereals to classic Mexican dishes with chorizo and salsas. The Chicken Breast with Victoria Sauce stuffed with apples is especially delicious, while shrimp dishes come prepared in a number of great ways including in Jamaica, Coconut and BBQ sauces. There’s Sea Bass in Tequila sauce and standard cuts of New York, Fillet Mignon, Arrachera and pasta dishes. Dinners come with chips and salsa, steamed veggies, potatoes with sour cream or rice, warm bread buns or tortillas. The full bar is open to enhance your dining pleasure all day long featuring great beers, cold fruit margaritas, and virtually any drink you and their mixologist can dream up.
