Cabo Wine Club sponsors a Tequila Tasting each month at local restaurants. The tequila tasting is presented by knowledgeable tequila experts and afficionados. Learn more about this Spirit of Mexico. For most, their first encounter with tequila included licking salt off their hand, taking a shot, biting on a lime, and perhaps suffering the day after with a headache. Not anymore. Today there’s a whole new way of enjoying this native drink. When you discover that good 100% Agave tequila is neither fattening nor will it give you a hangover, you may want to learn more about this indigenous drink of Mexico.

The guest speaker was Ricardo Gonzales from Tequilas y Tequilas Boutique. The tasting featured a 100% Agave Blanco, Reposado and Añejo from El Catoral or K-Tzal Tequila.
