Back in 1996, Cabo San Lucas had only one traffic signal. So when restaurateurs, Marcel Cadoret (a Frenchman) and Jose Benitez Ferrara (a Mexican), were contemplating a name for their new establishment, they figured what better idea than to identify it by its unique and easy-to-find location!
Even though there now are more traffic signals, the Stop Light Bar & Grill Restaurant is still right here and has established itself as one of the most consistent eateries for good food at reasonable prices. If it’s breakfast you’re wanting, try the spinach and mushroom omelet for only $5 U.S.
Salads are a favorite for lunch at $6 to $12, or the meal-in-itself tortilla soup. Dinner is a whole new experience that might start with escargot (French for snails.)
