There’s Clams Stuffed with Seafood in white sauce, lobster and shrimp combos and many delicious fish dishes to select from with a quality thick cut of Mahi Mahi being the restaurants preferred catch-of-the-day. Try the Seafood Carnival for 2 persons with lobster, Imperial shrimp, Popeye’s shrimp (stuffed with spinach in béchamel sauce), calamari, fish fillet and octopus. Ymmmmm.
This restaurant has over two dozen items featuring the world’s favorite crustacean - Shrimp Meatball Soup, Shrimp Tostadas and Shrimp Tacos to a dozen shrimp dinner dishes. The Shrimp Fiesta is a true pleaser with breaded, Imperial and coconut battered shrimp, and appropriate dipping sauces.
The full bar serves up libations just as-you-like-it, with traditional margaritas and Cadillac margaritas a specialty. Homemade flan is made daily with chocolate fudge brownie cake, cheesecakes and other desserts available depending on which side of the bunk the baker arose from that morning.
Prices range from $60p for a Baja Style 3 Shrimp Tacos plate and $110p for fish fillet entrees, with market price for lobster specialties.
Popeye’s is located on 16th de Septiembre between Morelos and Leona Vicario Cabo San Lucas, a couple blocks up from the Paraiso Mall and Marina Blvd. Open daily 12-10pm. Seating for groups to 100.
