A restricted Zone Real Estate Trust is an ideal vehicle for foreign individuals or companies interested in acquiring real estate within Mexico's Restricted Zone. The Restricted Zone Real Estate Trust is a strip of land 100 kilometers wide along the border and 50 km wide along the shoreline. By establishing a Restricted Zone Real Estate Trust, you are entitled to enjoy unrestricted use of such property for a period of 50 years, which may be extended. You, as the trust beneficiary retain and enjoy all the rights of ownership while Banco Monex, as the trustee, holds title to the property. The trust enables you to sell the property held in trust at its market value to any eligible buyer.
