Ricardo Cuevas specializes in an integrated approach to Orthopedic Massage Therapy, combining Myofascial Release, Intrinsic Joint Mobilization, and Active/Passive Isolated Stretching with traditional Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, designed to treat chronic to acute soft tissue dysfunction.
Ricardo is a 1992 graduate of the Hawaiian Islands School of Body Therapies, an intensive 1,000 hour Orthopedic Massage Therapy training program, located in Kailua Kona, Hawaii, and is a Licensed Massage Therapist in both
Hawaii and New York.

Before relocating to Cabo San Lucas, Ricardo owned and operated a successful private practice on Long Island, New York, which, between 1992 - 2006 grew to over 800 active clients, primarily by referral from physicians, physical therapists, and chiropractors, as well as Pilates instructors, yoga instructors, and personal trainers.

| Your therapeutic massage will begin with a brief consultation regarding your general health, problem conditions, and desired results, which, combined with a physical assessment, will be used to create a session tailored to meet your specific needs. |
| All sessions include aromatherapy and are performed on a Body Support System (described below). During your session you will be professionally draped at all times to keep you comfortable and secure.
Feel free to close your eyes and relax, provide feedback, or ask questions at any time. Following your session, remedial exercises and/or stretches may be suggested.

The Body Support System is incorporated into each massage and is utilized in prone, supine, and side-lying positions. Advantages of the Body Support System include:
- Relaxes muscles maximizing access and range of motion
- Supports the body without creating pressure
- Decompresses the spine, relieving back pain
- Adjusts to all body types and sizes, including pregnancy
