NATIONAL TRADITIONS- Every Tuesday starting January 10th of 2012 Opening act: International Flags Parade. A female horseback troop carrying flags from around the world give a warm Mexican welcome to the crowd assembled in the bleachers. Flags and costumes wave in the wind while these skilled riders circle the plaza riding sidesaddle.
Next come the folkloric dancers, who present some traditional Mexican folk dances. This well-choreographed dance group, in their bright colored dresses and elegant Charro’s suits, perform to traditional Mexican music.
It is beautiful to watch these dancers, who uplift the spirit and give you a chance to view one of our favorite traditions.
