Ida Victoria Arts Gallery - Galeria de Ida Victoria - Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico
Galeria de Ida Victoria is a beautiful tri-level art gallery located in the heart of San Jose del Cabo's historic district. It is a spectacular building that stays true to the Mexican colonial style of the neighborhood on the facade, but the interior is a grand and modern space with state of the art lighting and hanging systems.
The capacity of the building can hold up to 100 people.
The gallery's design was a collaboration of two architects, Jesus Manriquez from La Paz, Mexico and Pat Barry from Washington DC. They had a unique challenge of taking an old, one story adobe building and transforming it into a beautiful space with tons of natural light, designed specifically to showcase works of art.
The gallery is unique in that it has high ceilings to hang large works as well as areas to display smaller works and sculpture. The space is extremely versatile, allowing the gallery to feature special solo or group shows as well as display other pieces not involved in an exhibition.
The gallery is also equipped with a state of the art projection system for weekly lectures on the history of Mexican art and special programs on artists and periods of art history.
Our Frame Studio
In our Frame Studio all the materials used are 100% archival, we use Crescent Rag Mat board, Tru-Vue UV protect glass and archival methods of hinging and packaging the artwork.
We have a huge selection of moulding samples, from the best companies in the US and Mexico. All our framings are done in-house, so your artwork will never leave the premises until you pick up and take it home.
When having art framed, or reframed, make sure all materials used are archival quality and preservation standards are used.
All of our equipment is state of the art.
