The victims of Hurricane Katrina need our help. We've sent billions upon billions of dollars overseas to help those in need elsewhere in the world. Now it is time to help our own.
The concept is very simple. If every working American gives just one day's wages to help, we'll raise tens of billions of dollars to help these unfortunate victims. You can afford it. You must afford it. They desperately need our help, so just do it.
Do not send us your money. Listed below are national charities who are equipped to do the most with the money you donate and who will see that it gets to those in need.
After you make your donation, make yourself a little sticker to wear that says "I Gave A Day To Help" and encourage others to do the same when they ask what that's about. Ask your company to match your donations.
