Girasoles de la Hacienda Restaurant is a comfortable yet casually elegant place to dine. Marvelous 5th floor views afford diners a stunning vista of the Cabo del Sol coastline. Open for dinner only, appetizers range from Lobster Tacos to Ensalada Mexicana, a refreshing blend of carrot, lettuce, cucumber, jicama and oranges topped with a yogurt dressing. Fajitas are a specialty here with four versions to choose from as well as a good selection of seafood and beef dishes. Mahi-Mahi (dorado) the Old Way, prepared with garlic and epazote, is lovely, as is the Salmon with coriander vinaigrette. Service is prompt and attentive and meals are carefully prepared with the highest standards one would expect from a Sheraton resort. Their full bar and exquisite dessert menu is another reason to dawdle over the view, especially during sunset. Resort attire required.
