Weekly Fishing Report by “Picante Sportfishing”
November 14th. to November 20th. 2011
Our report is compiled from the catches of our fleet. We’ll update the report each week.
The waters surrounding the peninsula continue to cool
as the winter breezes out of the north and northwestpush the cooler water south. A strong Dorado biteseems to be keeping a fair number of Blue Marlinin our waters.
November 16th. was a great day for Mr. Laing and
his friends aboard our 35’ Cabo Express “CISCO”with Captain Jose “Mocho” Nunez at the helm.The charter and crew were surprised when a Blue Marlin crashed a jig and the fight was on. A successful release and high fives all around forthe crew and fisherman. They also boated 1 Wahoo and 7 Dorado.
The Blue Marlin bite continues to create a buzz
as another Blue was released today aboard our31’ Cabo Express “Picante Expresso” with CaptainGilberto Castro at the controls on November 17th.Mr. Brumleve and his friends could not have beenmore excited after returning to the docks. They also boated a Wahoo and 4 Dorado.
The Blues are still hungry and November 18th. a
BIG fish crashed a jig again on the “Picante Expresso”.The fish was released to fight another day and wasestimated at 500 lbs. +. Mr. Walker and his guest didnot know what to expect when boarding the boat andwere surprised as the crew was when the big fish hit.They also boated 3 Dorado which was enjoyed at a local restaurant.
We close out the week on November 20th with the
“Picante Expresso” again our boat of the day. Mr. Bartsch and his friends had a great day with Captain Gilberto Castro releasing a Striped Marlin and boating 9 Dorado. Look forward to seeing your crew back inCabo.
