The menu of antipasto and entrees is extensive, all with Chef Raffaelle Di’Maio’s special touch. Specializing in Italian delicacies and fresh seafood, El Galeon will satisfy that craving for fine food and great service.
Any of the antipasto selections are great, as is the Linguini Seafood. If veal is your thing then you won’t be disappointed with their Scaloppina al Limone (piccata), veal medallions with Marsala and mushrooms. The Gamberoni Provenzale, a generous helping of shrimp in garlic, tomato, wine and herbs, is savored while sipping a fine glass of wine. If beef is what you crave, you are in for a great treat, and a top choice would be the Medaglioni Gorgonzola, a Veal medallione sautéed in white wine,smothered with blue cheese sauce—try it, you’ll love it, and don’t forget the Magnificent Lasagna “MODO MIO”!!!; the home made beef lasagna baked and topped with mozzarella cheese.
If you just like your steaks grilled, they offer that as well with your favorite cut of prime tender beef. Of course, authentic pizza is also on the menu.
Enjoy marvelous desserts and special coffees while listening to the nightly entertainment El Galeon is famous for, its piano bar. Ronald Valentino will entertain you with his virtuoso piano from Chopin to Cole Porter. After your dinner stroll the lighted marina. This is a fine way to continue the romantic mood that El Galeon inspires in young and old alike.
Ambiance
Galeon is located on the hillside by two great hotels, The Playa Grande Resort and the Finisterra Hotel (Land's End), over looking the beautiful Marina of Cabo San Lucas, we have been open for more than 20 years.
For your convenience we have added a comfortable elevator if you arrive by cab or on food, but if you are driving, we offer a large parking lot beside the Restaurant. The maximum capacity is 250 people in the main salon; it has been the scenario of great big parties and also Opera dinner shows. As an Italian Restaurant, Galeon has an old-world stone Oven that can be used for the delicious pizzas using only mesquite wood.
