Cabo Medical Care - Take a Medical Vacation for a Beautiful New You! Aesthetic Medical Treatments and Cosmetic Surgery in Cabo San Lucas. For a great medical vacation - visit your doctor … in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico! Article continues. By David Mandich, Medical Tourist Advisor. CaboRey Dinner Cruiser - A Romantic Evening Cabo San Lucas Cruise! - With drinking, dining, dancing, an Argentine floor show, all on the 110 ft. motor vessel "CaboRey". Cafe Dorian Restaurant - I had the sublime pleasure of visiting a little Cabo San Lucas marina waterfront dining spot called Café Dorian recently. The menu was a delightful change from the normal fare found in the local restaurants. The entrées at this little place reflect the best of Asian cuisine and Western dishes melded into something more delicious than the sum of its sauces and sautées. Cabo San Lucas Vacation - Los Cabos, Mexico - What To See, Do, and How To Do It. - Cabo San Lucas being only two beers away by commercial air travel from Southern California is fast replacing Hawaii as a preferred quick-trip exotic vacation destination for many Americans. Over two million tourists travel to Baja California Sur each year and visit towns and villages, bays, beaches, islands and golf courses each season for an average stay of 3.5 days. Some, like me, come for a visit and never go back. Damiana - Love potion of the Aztecs. One shot and this Old Gringo was in trouble - If I were an ancient Aztec juiced up on Damiana, I could go happily to the altar to have my heart ripped out. Or better yet, Mambo the night away wearing nothing but feathers at the village fertility orgy. The Damiana plant is a small shrub with smooth, green oval leaves and little aromatic yellow flowers that grows in many parts of Mexico, Central America and most abundantly in Baja California del Sur. For over a century is has been gathered by locals from Todos Santos to La Paz where it has been bundled, bagged and shipped throughout the world for use as an herbal tea, medicine or distilled into a magical liquor. Its use, dates back to the time of the ancients. Don Emiliano "Slow Food" in San Jose - Executive Chef Doña Margarita Salinas trained at the American Culinary Institute, the Cordon Bleu and other places in Europe and Mexico. Former school teacher, food writer, and Gourmet Ice Cream factory owner, she is also the Chef for the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture traveling often giving Mexican cooking demonstrations at food festivals in Japan, Canada, Europe, the USA and China. Featured in books on great chefs of the world she is a consummate ambassador for Mexican cuisine and traditions. And a member of the Slow Food Movement. French Riviera Restaurant & Bakery - Cabo San Lucas - Any traveler who discovered the French Riviera Bakery in San Jose del Cabo last year and were delighted over their delicious pastries, breads, chocolates, and crepes will be doubly pleased to know of the 2003 opening of their new full-blown French Mediterranean style restaurant located in the equally new Plaza del Rey just outside of Cabo San Lucas. (Eastbound side of the four-lane highway at Km. 6.3. leading from Cabo San Lucas to San Jose del Cabo.) This new restaurant raises the bar of Haute Cuisine in Cabo San Lucas another five notches. La Dolce Italian Restaurant - San Jose del Cabo - There are two La Dolce Italian Restaurants in the Los Cabos area. One is in Cabo San Lucas, the other in San Jose del Cabo. I prefer San Joses venue for its outdoor dining under a canopy of trees wrapped in twinkling lights, flaming Tonga torches, the moon and the outdoor wood fired pizza oven. But the inside dining area is charming too. La Dolce Restaurant is located in a hundred year old brick, stone and plaster house fronting on the grand cathedral plaza in downtown San Jose del Cabo. One can gaze out the windows and see the elegant wrought iron white Victorian bandstand and classic church beyond, just yards away. Los Cabos Travel - Getting to Cabo San Lucas - The great tourist destinations of Baja California Sur, Mexico including Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo, Todos Santos and La Paz are all incredibly easy to access from the United States and Canada. Gone are the days when one had to endure one thousand miles of teeth grinding, car wrenching, washboard dirt roads. Mariscos El Chivi y Los Compadres Restaurant - A big question always gnawing away in the back of the travelers mind whenever hunger strikes is; where does one find good regional food in a strange town without one getting plucked, skinned, and cooked? After living in the Los Cabos area of Baja California Sur for almost four years, I have conditioned myself to avoid tourist oriented dinner traps like the plague. Medical and Dental Tourism in Los Cabos Mexico - Medical and Dental Tourists from the United States, Canada & Western Europe vacation free in Los Cabos Baja Sur Mexico annually by saving money on treatments which they find difficult to obtain or too expensive back home. They come for reasons such as having been denied treatment by their insurers, unbearably long waiting periods for government health services, but mostly, the prohibitively high cost of dentistry, private doctors and hospitals. Mi Casa de Mariscos Restaurant - Cabo San Lucas = An old wooden stagecoach is seemingly abandoned near the entrance of this colonial styled restaurant. Upon entering Mi Casa de Mariscos Restaurant one is immediately flanked on both sides by doorways beckoning you to divert into a jewelry and art shop on the left or a Mexican crafts shop on the right. I was not able to pass through to the restaurant without enjoying a fun quick look at both places before my growling stomach reminded me what I came for. Mi Casa Restaurant - Cabo San Lucas - Mi Casa Restaurant is located on the West side of downtown Cabo across from Town Square Plaza the one with the whale bones on display. A fitting locale as the restaurants ambience evokes memories of an old Cabo San Lucas with its interior walls covered with faux faded and crumbling murals depicting old village street scenes. Peacocks Restaurant - Cabo San Lucas - Peacocks Restaurant advertises itself as having the European Touch to Cabo Dining. I have to agree, for my experience at this restaurant was one of pure satisfaction given the establishments upscale (but still Cabo style) ambience, service and cuisine. San Jose del Cabo The Real Cabo - If you are unfamiliar with what constitutes Los Cabos it goes like this: located on the most southern extremity of Baja California Sur, the rowdy raucous resort community of Cabo San Lucas is on the west end of the peninsula tip and approximately eighteen miles to the East, you will find the more laidback, peaceful, colonial town of San Jose del Cabo. Los Cabos (The Capes) includes both communities connected by a eighteen-mile stretch of waterfront hotels, celebrity designed golf courses and luxury home developments. The Shrimp House Restaurant - The Shrimp House Restaurant is the original purveyor (going on 14 years now) of fine local shrimp dishes in Cabo San Lucas. It is not to be confused with any other late coming restaurants with similar names like The Shrimp Factory, El Shrimp Bucket, Forrest Gumps Shrimp Shack, etc. Todos Santos Take A Trip Into The Beyond of Baja, - For Art, Music, Fine Restaurants and the Illusionary Hotel California - Tourists who arent into the Cabo San Lucas scene of catching a big fish, playing golf or getting drunk and hanging upside down by their ankles on a fish scale in a bar are happy to discover the sleepy Artists Colony of Todos Santos just one hour north of Cabo San Lucas on the Pacific side of the Baja California peninsula. What was once Santa Fe, New Mexico in the 1920´s, later Carmel and Big Sur in the 50´s & 60´s, is now becoming Todos Santos. Whatever that is or whatever you want it to be. |
