The newest addition to the Cabo San Lucas nightlife scene is located across the street from the venerable Cabo Wabo. While some sections of the ambitious bar and nightclub are still under construction, the bar portion is already open to the public. There’s a lounge where patrons can sip and enjoy drinks while listening to techno, hip-hop, and alternative music and relaxing on comfortable cushion seats.

The team behind Canibal Bar is hoping the spot will become a destination for spring breakers, and there are plans to showcase live Ultimate Fighting Championship bouts in an arena that will be set up in an open-air section located at the back. Other future plans include inviting top international DJs to perform and keep the place hoppin’ with their distinct brands of music.Master Mexican street art and graffiti painter Victor Miguel Kater has done a tremendous job in giving the place a unique look and feel with his spectacular and very appealing mixture of vibrant colors and pop culture images. Glow-in-the-dark parties and body shot competitions will soon make their debut at Canibal Bar, we’re told. There will also be a menu that includes appetizers, entrées, beer, and cocktails.
