Welcome to CABO SUP, the first Stand Up Paddle Board Club located in the heart of downtown Cabo, offering lessons, rentals, and guided tours.
CABO SUP owners and operators Lee and Meredith Vosburgh, started paddling 5 years ago in Montauk, Long Island (NY). They continued paddling when they relocated to Cabo 4 years ago to be the onsite partners of the Bahia Hotel and Beach Club.
The decision to share their passion for Stand Up Paddle was brought about by the ideal location of the Beach Club. The Beach Club is located on Medano Beach, one block from the Bahia Hotel and on one of the most beautiful and pristine bodies of water in the world, the Sea of Cortez.
Medano Beach is Cabo's most swimmable beach where the famous Land's End Arch marks the meeting of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. Jacques-Yves Cousteau named it "Nature's Aquarium". Many of the hotels on the corridor do not allow swimming due to rip currents and strong surf and therefore send there guests to Medano Beach for all water activities.
Stand Up Paddling is the fastest growing water sport in the world. It is an amazing workout and a fun way to experience being on the water. There is no wrong or right way to Stand Up Paddle just get out there and enjoy nature!
CABO SUP offers free lessons with rental. "No experience necessary".
After a safety lesson and basic instruction on the beach, we head to the water on a large foam training board to acclimate the paddler and teach the basic paddle strokes. Once the lesson is completed the paddler is free to explore the waters of Medano Bay see instructional video.
We maintain supervision and contact at all times with the paddlers and have wave runners available to assist if any problems arise out in the waters.
GUIDED TOURS are offered Monday thru Saturday at 7:30am 9:30am 5:00pm. Reservations recommended.
We also offer private and small group surf lessons and rentals.
Parking and lockers are provided with rentals.

Membership
For a monthly fee one will have unlimited paddling based on availability of equipment, free parking, lockers and board storage. By offering memberships we can give locals access to the beach and a private place to gather who share a love for Stand Up Paddle and nature. CABO SUP will be offering weekly clinics and demo days along with events and social gatherings. Members will have access to boards and are able to entertain guests for a daily fee and relax in the club house. As an additional benefit family and friends will be offered discounted rates at the Bahia Hotel and use of the facilities (pool and restaurant). Members will be able to practice and grow as paddlers on there own and in groups with easy access to equipment and group outings.
