Tour Description 

Join us on this adventurous 4 x 4 off road adventure into the heart of the Sierra Mountains and expanse Baja deserts. Throughout the day, amazingly knowledgeable and fun guides will allow you to explore and experience the natural flora, fauna and wildlife of the region.

Our journey begins with a short drive through the local residential areas of Cabo San Lucas where you can see the daily life of the local people. Entering into the sandy desert, tall, ancient cactus line the sandy roads as you head into the rural areas at the base of the mountains. After a short bathroom stop in Los Pozos, our trek will take you to the hidden village of “Candelaria”. Untouched by tourism, this local community is host to the main school of the area, a typical church and representative houses of the Baja. After a visit to the school to experience the educational system, a short walk takes you to the church where you will learn about local religions and cultures. A beautiful cemetery overlooks the village, and here you will learn how the Mexican people worship the day of the dead.

From Candelaria, a short drive takes you to the nature walk stop.  Wandering through the desert areas, you will learn about all the flora, fauna and wildlife that the desert has to offer with our eco–friendly expert guides.  After a light snack, a drive through the mountains takes you to the “Casa Tipica”, a local farmers’ house with the most amazing views over the Sierras and the Pacific Ocean.  Here, you will enjoy local hand made tortillas and dressings along with the chance to try fresh fruits from around the region and take great photos of the impressive views.

An off road exhilarating journey then takes you to an amazing beach lining the Pacific where our chef and guides cook up a storm with an al fresco lunch and open bar.  Relax, soak up the sun, or explore the virgin coastline before you jump on board the 4 x 4’s and head back to Cabo San Lucas, with plenty of fun and tequila on the way!

Your memorable day will take you back through Cabo san Lucas to your hotel.
