Bad Medicine Sport Fishing Cabo Fishing Report January 16, 2014

bm frWinter conditions are setting in here in Cabo, and along with that comes the annual migration of Striped Marlin. The bite has been incredible off the light house on the Pacific side. Many boats are hooking 5-10 Marlin per day on live bait fished deep. Golden Gate bank on the Pacific has also started with its Striped Marlin bite. Lots of fish hitting live bait fished down deep. The Yellowfin Tuna have also shown up! Large schools have been found near Jaime Bank and off the lighthouse 15-20 miles out. We are filling coolers quickly with some killer shashimi! Lots of dorado have been mixed in with the Marlin. The Pacific has been hot for Dorado action near shore all the way up to Todos Santos. Wahoo are mixed in as well, so be ready for anything.  Some Tuna have been found, but the schools have not shown up like they are supposed to for this time of year. They will be coming soon as the water cools up North. Lots of Rooster fish on the beaches and the Sierra Mackerel will be soon to follow. The whales are here in full force now too. The entire ocean is full of life!
