Cabo San Lucas monthly fish report for the Los Cabos area provided by Bad Medicine Sportfishing here in Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Summer is officially upon us here in Cabo. We love the summer months here at Land’s End. The water is in the mid 80’s and boasts 100′ visibility quite often; truly amazing. The Striped Marlin bite is wide open right in front of town now, and 5-10 shots per day are common. That same temp break between the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific still holds good numbers of fish, and the Dorado are showing up there as well.

We are finally seeing some decent schools of Tuna! This is great news and many anglers are booking dates for August and September to chase monster Yellowfins. If this summer is anything like last summer, we are set for another record breaking year! The Blue Marlin and Sail Fish are showing as well, and as the summer progresses we know they will continue to roll in. We have already had a few instances of big Blues hitting tackle that is not prepared for the challenge and stripping out all the line in a few seconds. Anything can happen at this time of the year in Cabo!
