Seeing the back roads of Los Cabos and visiting areas rarely seen by most tourists is what you or your guests are able to experience through Baja Outback.  Participants have the unique experience of driving an H2 (Hummer) Humvee the way they were built to be used.  The roads are existing farmers roads used for years and no new roads or paths are being made by this expedition.  Although the expedition itself is designed to be a learning experience, don’t let this fool you, you’re in for an experience not soon to be forgotten.

All Baja Outback Expeditions are led by federally credentialed guides and all safety precautions have been considered.  All vehicles are equipped with a communication system so interaction with your fellow riders and guides happens throughout the expedition.

Our Expeditions

Rancho la Verdad

Is a close 45 minute drive from Cabo; we traverse off road through running water, down steep terrain, before arriving in La Verdad. "The Truth" is a ranch owned by the Castro family and is a model example of working a farm in Baja. A photo can't even describe the beauty of this new little private oasis! Snacks and beverages are included. Approximately 4 hours in length.

Todos Santos

Everyone wants to make a short trip to Todos Santos, especially when visiting Los Cabos, but no one ever thought of getting there by off-road, until we did! Lunch at the legendary Hotel California is provided. Approximately 8 hours in length.

Santiago and Canyon of the Fox expedition

Takes travelers off the road and into the mountains near Santiago to discover natural springs and waterfalls in the area's wild canyon region, where an energizing hike ensues. See many of the indigenous plants and animals of the Baja while visiting the biosphere reserve. Lunch at a relaxed local restaurant is provided. Approximately 6 hours in length.

East Cape Los Frailes Adventure

Journeys across desert terrain and through areas where fossil-lined canyons sit in silent wait. We continue along the Sea of Cortez coast, stopping by Los Frailes Bay where you can enjoy kayaking, snorkeling or just relaxing. An ocean front picnic-style lunch is included. Approximately 10 hours in length.

Then and Now Expedition

A mountain area covered with water about 4 million years ago will take you straight to the bottom of the ocean.  A cactae in an area with very extreme conditions life prevails and teach a lesson in survival, makes Baja Outback a must do activity for all who want to experience the real Baja.  Bottle water included; 3 hours expedition.

Expedition to Remote Village

Seeing the way people of the area live just minutes away from the deluxe hotels in the region shows our guests why all of our resources in the Baja are so important.
Small towns are established throughout the area and you will have the chance to stop in some of these villages and visit with some of the local residents.  Bottle water included; 3 hours expedition.
