We have grown used to enjoying great Italian cuisine at Da Antonio Ristorante at the InterContinental Hotel in San Jose del Cabo. In fact, certainly many thought it couldn’t get any better. But it did.
After about month and a half of remodeling, Da Antonio reopened on Sept. 22, 2006 under a new nameAlfredo Di Roma, offering the most authentic of Roman fare.
With a packed house of well-heeled local loyalists, the celebration centered around the expanded, pasta-loaded menu and the original sleek décor.
Chef Daniele Tonin plays up the pasta, fatte in casa (homemade) and utterly fresh with almost twenty variations to choose from. Let it be tortellini, ravioli, tagliatelle or gnocchi, and don’t forget the house specialtythe world-famous creamy Maestosissime Fettuccine All’Alfredo, served traditionally at your table, based on the 1914 authentic recipe, and lending the name to this excellent establishment.
