Take an amazing 25 mile journey through the resort's ecological reserve, a network of connecting trails, crossing arroyos, traversing mountains and narrow canyons. Trails are well marked and completely away from public. Speeds are kept low with many stops to drink in the stunning Sea of Cortez view and gorgeous countryside. This is a fantastic way to see the desert ecosystem and learn more about the flora and fauna of Los Cabos.
We are the only ATV (all terrain vehicles) business in Baja with its own private reserve. Our tours are not high speed tours and availability is limited, we suggest you make your reservations with anticipation.
Most ATV tours nowadays are geared to adrenaline seekers. Ours is aimed at satisfying the needs of families, mature crowds and nature lovers. Glide through the desert on an ATV with comfort and ease into the desert sierra range through pristine canyons and sand arroyos, up to Desert Park's natural oasis, guided by an experienced naturalist through breathtaking scenery. At two strategic points you will receive a detailed description of the flora and fauna of the Baja Desert for your knowledge and enjoyment.

Cost: $70.00 USD for single rider and $80.00 USD for double riders.
Double riders are allowed for children under 12 years of age riding with an adult.

Looking for a new way to explore Los Cabos? Do you want to learn a little about the incredible plants and animals that live here in Baja? Nestled within the borders of the Cabo Real Private Natural Reserve, Desert Park offers you the perfect opportunity to accomplish these goals. As you glide through the desert with comfort and ease on a state-of-the-art Honda ATV, you will be guided by an experienced naturalist through 3,300 acres of the most breath- taking scenery you will encounter during your stay in Los Cabos. You will learn about the plants and animals of the Baja California Sur desert from your guide as he points them out during intermittent rest stops. He will also explain to you how the indigenous people of the area used these plants and animals for everyday life. The Desert Park experience is far more than an off-road excursion, it is a virtual reality history lesson on wheels.
Never ridden an ATV before? Don’t be concerned. They’re safe and easy to drive and the Desert Park staff will show you the ropes on their short training course. In fact you don’t leave the course for the excursion until you are completely comfortable aboard your off-road machine. Once you have it figured out, you’re off, bounding through the desert seeing Los Cabos from a whole new perspective.
This tour will send you through pristine canyons and provide panoramic views of the desert with the Sea of Cortez as a backdrop. Don't forget your camera, there will be plenty of opportunities for photos. Be sure to have your guide take a few photos of you as well.
Desert Park provides all safety equipment needed for the ride. This includes a helmet, goggles and a scarf to keep the dust out of your face. It is recommended that you wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt and closed toed shoes. You’ll also want to make sure that any exposed skin is protected with sunscreen.
